Abigail Leigh Spencer - born on the 4th of August, 1981 is a famous American Actress. Her most well-known work is her roles in the movies Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You and also for her role in the TV show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. The actress is currently starring as Amantha Holden on The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer is an American actress who works in the television industry as well as films. Her most well-known work was in her work in the drama show Rectify and in the science fiction show Timeless. The native of Gulf Breeze, she began her career with soap opera All My Children. The soap drama All My Children earned her a prize from Soap Opera Digest as the Best Female Newcomer. The next couple of years she mainly played roles as guest stars in a number of television programs. The show she appeared on received praise for her part she took on in the role of The Dr. Erin Jameson of Hawthorne. Gradually, her beautiful looks and impressive acting skills made her an ideal candidate for an ardent fan base. At the age of twenty-years old, her first film role was in Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as and Chasing Mavericks are other films where she starred. As part of Beautiful Now, she was nominated for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. Her most recent appearance on TV has been in the leading role of history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi TV series Timeless. Spencer was nominated as a Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's performance in Timeless. The series has won reviews of praise.
